  • We can help.

While our learning materials are directed toward preparing persons to serve as hospice volunteers, the information is applicable for anyone wishing to learn more about providing caring support to persons, as well as understanding hospice and palliative care.

Our materials are NOT about providing medical care.  They focus on the support that friends, family and volunteers can bring, as well as explaining hospice and the services it provides.

If you’d like to learn more, we invite you to purchase access to either of our On-Line Training Courses (video or e-learning), where you can access 16 topics, and 5.5 hours of information used for training hospice volunteers.

By going through our On-Line Training, you will better understand what hospice care is all about as well as information on providing support to friends or loved ones.

This training on its own will not qualify persons to volunteer with your local hospice organization.  Each hospice has their own training process in place and all new volunteers must comply with those training processes.  Many hospices use our training materials, but even so, you will need to comply with your local hospice’s standards for training, criminal background checks, etc.

The advantage of accessing our training is to have a better sense of whether volunteering with hospice is right for you.
